Education in Faith

“…creating animated learners, inspired by the Gospel and led by the Holy Spirit to act for justice and the common good.”

(Horizons of Hope)

As a Catholic Primary School we are founded and enlivened by the Gospel Values, engaging in prayer and scripture.  We believe in nurturing everyone’s relationship with God, which helps us to navigate our learning and relationships. We believe in a vision of peace, justice and compassion, both locally and globally.  As a Catholic school we have a commitment to those in need and making a positive difference in the world.

Religious Education is taught through units of work developed by the teachers following the Renewed Religious Education Curriculum Framework.  The units include a series of learning experiences that encourage explanation, interpretation and reflection in-line with the Learning Descriptors and Achievement Standards.

We believe in a vision of peace, justice and compassion, both locally and globally.  As a Catholic school we have a commitment to those in need and making a positive difference in the world. Throughout the year we endeavour to support a variety of Catholic causes and organisations by building awareness, fundraising and giving donations.
