Parents’ Auxiliary

The St Augustine’s Parent Association (PA) is a vibrant and active group of volunteer parents who aim to  provide the school community with social, financial and physical support. The St Augustine’s Parents Auxiliary is managed purely by volunteer parents who traditionally organise events to raise funds for school projects both current and in the future. ie playground seating, oval redevelopment, technology in the school, garden projects, shade sails, twilight sports and carols BBQ etc.

More recently, the focus has evolved into the PA also hosting community events and activities which continue the tradition of community building. ie mum’s night out and Confirmation reflection day BBQ. As a parent, being involved as a volunteer is a worthwhile undertaking; a meaningful way to meet others and enjoy your journey as part of the St Augustine’s School Community. Parent volunteers are a vital component of the Auxiliary and the School’s support network.

All Parents  are welcome to attend any of the meetings throughout the year. General meetings are held twice a term.  Regular PA fundraising activities include lunch order days, chocolate drive, raffles, mothers and fathers day stalls, lap-a-thon, twilight sports, disco and Bunnings sausage sizzle.

For more information or if you would like to volunteer for this group please contact the school.
